For Revolution We Need A Working Class Party

Protests need a place to go. We know this from all prior protests. In the past 25 years we have seen protests against the Iraq war, against Wall Street, against mass incarceration, against, against, against but always avoiding building a new social order in society. We keep getting diverted into competition for jobs or starting your own business where you can still have to work 65 hours a week for the same unlivable income and be enslaved to debt.
Unless we build a Socialist political party with ballot access we will continue to be diverted into Capitalist political parties whether as individuals we claim to reject them or not. Just refusing to vote for a Capitalist party doesn't shift the power to the working class. Relying on a patchwork of organizations for mutual aid that mobilizes the working class to vote for a Capitalist party doesn't shift the power to the working class. Organize in workplaces, yes absolutely, but if it's to convince workers they should vote for a Capitalist party and give concessions to the bosses then the power doesn't shift to the working class.
To have a working class party it has to organize in workplaces and with the unemployed across all cultural identity and also send one candidate on one ballot line to whatever seats they decide to run for. Workers are better connected to their ecologic interests when their class identity is risen towards solidarity in collective action. This is how we develop Ecosocialism.
