Fall Gathering 2022

Greetings, friends and comrades,

Join us for this year's Fall Gathering in Pittsboro* to celebrate winning ballot access and running 3 strong candidates. We look forward to an evening of community building and reflection. Let's work together to strengthen the North Carolina Green Party -- the only party that puts people and planet over profit.

After a whirlwind petitioning campaign to collect signatures, a grueling legal battle, and three excellent candidates getting on the ballot, this years' Fall Gathering is sure to be exciting! We kick off the weekend Friday night with light food and drinks at our Group Visioning Social. All Green members and non-member supporters are invited. We will hear from party leadership and channel the current energy to activate the Green community. Our NCGP members-only business meeting begins Saturday morning. But don't worry, there is plenty of time to become an official member of the party. Your voice and participation are so important to this movement. Please RSVP for a fun weekend of solidarity and community!

Upon further consideration, the Fall Gathering will be opened up to be a hybrid event for members who cannot make it due to reasonable situations.

We heavily encourage members to make it to the Gathering in person. This meeting is the best way to get to know fellow statewide Green active members in person and to become more involved!

REMINDER: WE HAVE LIMITED HOUSING AVAILABLE ON SITE FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED OR THE COST OF ACCOMMODATIONS IS PROHIBITIVE. PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] to inquire about accommodations. Travel costs should not be a huge factor in attendance. Please let us know if they are.

We will ONLY provide Zoom accommodations for the business meeting between 10 and 5 on Saturday Dec 3 - not the Meet n Greet Dec 2.

We anticipate the Zoom Meeting to begin a little after 10 AM - closer to 10:15 AM for Saturday to allow everyone to get settled.

NOTE: to vote at the Fall Gathering business meeting on Saturday, Dec 3 you must be:

1. A current NCGP member.
2. Registered as a Green *(there are exceptions for NCGP members who cannot register to vote in NC, such as members under 18 and non-citizens)
