Going into the November 2024 election, Greens will be on the ballot in 38 states. The vote totals below refer to the total number of Electoral College votes from the individual states in which Greens are competing -- 437. The number of Electoral College votes required to win the US Presidency is 270, although it's important to remember that this archaic and anti-democratic system operates on a winner-take-all allotment of state votes. In North Carolina, only one candidate will receive all 16 of our allowed Electoral College votes. Nonetheless, NC Greens will keep our ballot line going forward, continuing to build this independent left movement to impact elections and run our candidates at every level possible.
