ABOUT CJ BRINSON:

CJ's Platform includes taking on police accountability and incarceration in a city where racial disparities in arrests and checkpoint stops exceed that of Ferguson MO at the time of the killing of Michael Brown.

CJ will fight for greatly increasing bus routes and funding of new modes public transportation. He believes that free internet access points should be available across the entire city. 

CJ is also using his campaign to expose the extreme disparity in contracts awarded local black vendors - a staggering 2% in a city that is 40% African-American.

CJ also believes in Sanctuary for All and the right of local self determination in resisting repressive legislation such as HB142 or HB318.

On a broader political perspective, CJ believes strongly in the national struggle for Universal Healthcare (including dental and vision), Free Education through college, expanding mass public transport, and taxing Wall Street not working people. CJ believes in rebuilding a society where instead of waging war and mass incarceration on the poor that we will come together to end environmental destruction and poverty.
